CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. .30. The Secretary of the Dominion Bowling Association (Air E. AY. AVade) has received a cable from Air E. C. Cordner. Secretary of the Victorian Bowling Association, as follows :-“Victorian party, consisting of twenty howlers ami five ladies, arrive Afnnuka about February 13th., and leave again by Marama on Alarch 2nd.” The Dominion Council are preparing an itinerary which will lx- forwarded to Alelbourne by the next outgoing mail. The finals of the rinks and pairs in connection with the Canterbury Bowling Centre’s Christmas Tournament were played to-day on the sodden green. rain falling intermittently throughout the clay. Tlie rinks final was won by Timaru (Afathewson. Provan, Smellie and Moves. skip), who heat Edgeware (Christchurch) 27-—lB.
The South Canterbury pairs were won by Ward and Watson (United, ChCh), who heat Temuka 30—10. The Timaru Pairs were won by Efford and Aforgan (Edgware. ChCli). who he.it Meadowbank (Oamaru) 22—1.3. The .singles final will he played to-. morrow,
