(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) A SERIOUS I ALL. AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. Serious injuries were sustained by Michael Liddlngton. aged 22, a mill hand of Puketiritiri. Hawke’s Bay, through falling off the Scenic Railway at l.una Park last evening. He sustained a fractured jaw, a compound fracture of the right shoulder, a dislocated elbow and severe scalp wounds.

There were no papers to assist in the identification. Deceased was of slim build, wearing a light grey suit, brown hair and eyes, height 5 ft 8 inches. There arc no marks of violence on the body.

In the court the Chief Detective stated that all three had been convicted in Australia and Imd come to Auckland to carry on their business. The Magistrate ordered them to come up for sentence if called upon within two years and directed them to be placed aboard the steamer.
