A great rally in the dosing stages secured the Waratahs the victory, despite their opponents’ lead of ~> points to Jat half time. The ground was very muddy, and the game mostly a forward one. The hacks had few opportunities. and were handicapped by a greasy ball. The local players attacked fiercely in the first spell, and kept tho Waratahs on the defensive, hut in the second session the Waratahs fully held their own.
