AVoodful 99. MeNamee took 7 for 77. Mailer 3 for 117. The weather was fine with perfect cricket conditions. Ponstord and AVoodful gave a sparkling exhibition treating all the howlers with unconcern. Ponsford was particularly .brilliant, never being troubled bv the visitors attack. "Woodful was more careful and took no chances. The fielding was very keen and the howlers. Scoring was very slow at first, but later livened up against excellent fielding and howling Boosted Hen cot to work with the ball in a deadly fashion, and quickly disposed the Southerners.
