THURSDAY, DEC. Bth. The quarterly meeting was held at noon. Present: Alessrs AV. ATeldrum S.AL (Chairman), F. McGregor, J. Kyle ,H. Kent and J. Goodall. ADJOURNED APPLICATIONS Imperial Hotel, Greymouth, T. Lloyd. The Chairman stated the promised improvements bad not been done. It was decided to adjourn the sitting to 17th. December at Greymouth, when the Committee would inspect the building and decide on the course of action.
Commercial Hotel, Hokitika, J. L. Fo w le r.—G ranted. Junction Hotel, Dillmans. transfer, S. "Rowe to Edith Aforgan.—Granted. Revington’s Hotel, Greymouth, transfer, .T. D. Winghnm to .T. D. Dore —Granted. Ngaliere Hotel, Ngahere, transfer, L. Curtain (executrix) to AA'm. Holt.— Granted. Railway Hotel. Ngaliere, transfer, T. J. Furlong to J. H. Campbell.— Granted. AIOTION OF SYMPATHY. The Chairman referred to the recent death of a fellow member. Air C. J. Nightingale, and it was resolved that a letter be sent to Airs Nightingale, expressing appreciation of the valuable serves rendered by deceased, and the committee’s sincere regret at his death, and sympathy with the relatives.
