LATE LOCALS
The death took place on Monday last at Wanganui hospital after a lengthy illness of Airs Sweney, wife of Air Fred Sweney, formerly a resident of Hokitika. The deceased was a daughter (Lilian) of the late Air Cornelius Toohey, formerly of Kanieri. and sister of .Messrs Edward, Janies and Thomas Toohey. of Hokitika. Deceased who was 34 years of age leaves a sorrowing husband and family of four young children, a mother who was with her and also several other brothers and sister, liesides those mentioned.
