DUKE OE YORK. LONDON, Nov. 99. The Duke of York, speaking at the Industrial Welfare Society, urged cooperation between Britain and the Dominions. His survey of Australian mid New Zealand industries indicated the possibilities of extension, in which the society should he nvilnble to overseas employers. Though his survey was confined to liis spare time, owing to tlie full programme, lie was most impressed by labour-saving methods and the efficiency of men and women.

As n result of the co-operation ot New Zealand journalists in London, the “New Zealand News’’ has commenced a fortnightly publication. Sir J. Parr, in a foreword, says,: “ We’ve grown sufficiently to have our own viewpoints expressed in London.”
