EVERYBODYS’ PICTURES

Ihe screen version of the famous stage success by John Emerson and Anita Loos is said by those who have soon previews to he one of the funniest comedies of a comedy season. Edward Everett Horton, whose type of comedy is irresistible, has the stellar role in this picture, and is supported by an usually talented cast. Virginia Lee Corbin has the leading feminine role. Trixie Friganzn, the noted stage star, has an important part. Otis Harlan, tamed for his sense of comedy, has another paid. ITayden Stevenson, noted lor his role in “ The Leather Pushers,’’ is another in the east. Dolores Del Rio, the millionaire Mexican beauty, Margaret Quimby, former dancer with George White’s Scandals, Robert Ober, Aileen Manning, and .Malcolm Waite have important roles. The picture was directed by Edward Laemmle from the script written by Raymond Cannon.

A big supporting series also will be shown on Friday, including “ The Winking Idol ” (serial) and a good comedv.
