LONDON, Nov. 22 The Times Riga corres]X>ndent ro. ports that Kameroaff, an nnti-Stalin-ite, .speaking at* the Communist Conference. was howled down, but managed to interject, “Communism is bonding for the abyss.” Stalinites retorted. “An abyss is yawning for you. not for us.” When Stalinites shouted down Rakovsky, in the presence of foreigners, Bukovsky said to the latter: “Now, you see what democracy exists ill Russia.”

A paper thrown on the platform at* the Communist Conference was inscribed “The .time is coming when we shall liana, strangle and shoot you Stalinists.” The Soviet Poet-Laureate, Biedny. complains of Oppositionists’ threats to murder him unless lie refrains from lampooning them.
