GREAT INTEREST IN AFRICA. WELLINGTON, Nov. 21. Among the passengers to arrive b.v the Mature, to-day. was Air H. B. Douslin, formerly of Blenheim, who, after thirty years in the employ .of the Rhodesian Government, has retired from the position of the head of the Public Works Department. Air 1);,,,-1 in. is very much interested in Rugby }E<itibali, and trusts that arrangements will be made for the Ne.\ Zealand team to play at least .two miitdies in Rliodesia, one at ABReking and the other at Salisbury (near the Victoria Falls). He does not ilnak that the Rhodesians would be aHe t„ extend the New Zealanders, but thov would receive a great welcome, and would be able to see n very interesting country in the heart m Africa where the white man’s law runs. Tremendous interest is being taken in South Africa in view of next year’s visit of the New Zealand Rugby team, and some great battles are anticipated. , Mr Douslin’s advice to the Nev. Zealanders is, ‘.‘Keep vour eyes on Ossler. one of the slickest , and headiest backs ever turned out by Africa.”
