The machine carries 1435 gallons of gasolene and is believed to be capable of staying aloft for sixty hours. ENDURANCE FLYING. SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. IG. Kingsfowl Smith is planning a weekend attempt to establish an endurance flight record, remaining aloft over 55 hours, to lower the mark of the Germans who surpassed the record of Chamberlain and Acosta in a I ovine plane. Lieut. Pond will he co-pilot.
