Knute Hansen knocked out Phil Scott, tbe British heavyweight champion. in the first round, one minute after the start of the contest. Scott went down from a right cross to tbe head. He arose, only to be knocked down again, until this was repeated six times, after which lie was carried to bis corner. After the fourth knockdown, Scott clutched his groin and attempted to claim a foul, but was advised bv the referee to ‘‘Get
up. The spectators booed and jeered throughout the bout.
