At the Stadium. Beg. Trowcrn (9.13) delated Jimmy Pearce (10.4) in sixteen rounds. Pearce half-way through the 10th. round was disqualified for using the rabbit-killer punch. He was several times warned and when he again offended the referee took action. The contest was fast and clever and Trowcrn was ahead on points when his opponent. was disqualified. At Leichhardt Stadium Kielv (11.21) outpointed Buckie McDonald (11.4) in fifteen rounds. Txiely outboxed the New Zealander almost throughout the light, his long range punches not suiting the New Zealander's style. '1 ho hitter made a great effort to make up the leeway in the concluding rounds but Kiely had too big a margin and won comfortably. At the Stadium. Tiger Payne knocked out Charlie Chetwynd in the 10th. round. Payne bad an advantage from the start and with a whirlwind attack finished bis opponent.
