V distressing accident occurred to Afr Norman Barber, of (lowan Bridge, while in Murchison on Monday evening. The self-starter on his car fading to function, he was endeavouring to crank it up when the engine “ hack fired,” and the handle struck lum across the face, knocking out two teeth and lacerating his lips. Apparently the spark lever was too far advanced, of which he was not aware.—‘•Murchison Standard.” Children with worms restored good health by Wade’s Worm Figs. Safe, pleasant and reliable. —Advt.
