(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) LONDON, Oct. 19. Spirited raids by the home team kept the Warntahs on the defensive for the first twenty minutes of the game against forth Scotland. Then Gordon racing half the field on each occasion, scored two clean cut tries, Lawton converting. Lawton carving his way from midfield scored a try and converted, it himself. Fiii'ay from the scrum got over for ail unconverted try. At half time the Warn tabs were eirditecn. North Scotland nil. Two minutes after the restart, Wilson scored the Scotsmen’s first try near the flag, hut Maxwell failed to convert it. The Scotsmen for some time wore seen at their best. Kelly scored a try, which Wilson converted. Then land dropped a lovely goal and Heaps quickly added a I—- which was not converted. Findlay was forced to retire owing to an iniurv to the head. ”’"<>ugh colliding with a member of his own side. In the last few minutes I.awtou kicked a penalty goal. Scots sprinted and in a fight were beaten- by the Waratahs cool, deliberate combination. Tho final score was Waratahs 21, North Scotland 15.
