The “Daily Telegraph’s” Dublin correspondent states ; The Government has strengthened its position by obtaining the farmers’ support on questions of policy, by making the appointment of the Farmers’ Leader, Mr Heffeman, to a Parliamentary Secretaryship, probably that of the Department of Agriculture. Even so, the Government’s life is precarious.
