(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, Oct, 11. Following the defeat of the Labour Party in the elections, a buying wave swept the share market, and almost a general rise occurred in the quotations for gilt-edged stocks and industrial trading, and New South Males mining concerns. POSITION OF PARTIES. SYDNEY, Oct. 11. Definite results of the polling give the National-Country Parly past 47 seats, but returns to come are expected to increase that number to 51 seats. Mr Lang will not meet the House, but will resign next week, when the returns of all the electorates will be completed.
