(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.)' THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, Oct. 12. In the House to-day, at the eonelusion of the formal business, members took up reconsideration of the Tariff revision. Classes 2, (tobacco) 3, (spirits and alcoholic beverages) 4, (drugs, chemicals, etc.,) 5, (textiles, clothing, drapery) 6, (leather, leather manufactures,; grindery and rubber goods). Attempts by the Opposition to secure higher duties on textile piece goods and boots were defeated and the House rose at 12.5 a ,.in. till 2.30 p.m.
