(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. CAR OVERTURNS. WAIROA, Oct. 5. An accident occurred at midnight at lolmaraon the Wairoa-Gisbornc main toad, when a two-seater car skidded and toppled over, pinning the two occupants underneath. One man Mr Iskaboth, of Gisborne, had an arm broken, and was cut about. The car was considerably damaged.
A BODY FOUND. GREYMOUTH, Oct. 6. A body was found floating in the river this morning. It is believed to be tbat of Simon Jamieson, a seamen, on the Gabreilln, who fell over the wltarf on the night of Sept. 21st.
AN INSANE ACT. DAR'GAYJLLE, Oft, 6. At the inquest on the man Stipan l.ovinck (Lovett), a Dalmatian, single, 27 years of age, who cut his throat in a but on the gumfield at Arangi, the evidence showed the deceased had been peculiar in the early morning and complained of not being well. It is surmised lie was feeling the effects of the sun, as he had been working out in the fields the day before, without a hat. The act was done very suddenly, as a few minutes before lie asked his mate to leave the room while he changed his clothes, as lie intended to resume work. A verdict was returned of suicide while temporarily insane.
