(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N„ Oct. 5. The semi-final of the Dominion Ladies’ Golf Championship was played this morning in a strong gusty wind, and resulted as follows: — Miss Culling (Auckland) beat Miss Payton (Rotorua) one up. Mrs Collinson (Mnnawntu) beat Miss Upton (Auckland) five and four. .Misses Culling-Taylor match resulted in a keen contest, play being veryeven. At the turn Miss Culling was one up/' Slie maintained the advantage and with two holes to play was two lip. Payton won the next hole in four to Calling's five. The final bole was halved in five, one over bogey, the game ending in Miss Calling's favour one no. The Collinson-Upton match was another good exhibition of golf in which the advantage in the first half resulted to the- Manawatu player, who was four up at the turn and maintaining her advantage she was able to win by five and four.
