A LUCKY MAN. SYDNEY, Oct. 4. The Italian Scalise (whose trial was cabled on September 19th) was found guilty of the manslaughter of Caraei, whom lie shot in a factory, but owing to the provocation he received, he was bound over to appear for sentence if called upon any time within tnree years. SNOW IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Oct. 4. The weather continues bitterly cold. There was a slight fall of snow in the heart of the city of Sydney in the afternoon to-day.
