HINDENBURG’S REYIEAV. (Received this day at 1.5 p.ni.J BERLIN, Oct. 3
Hindenburg in full Field Marshal uniform, reviewed 80,000 soldiers from all parts of the country; carrying 3,000 ■wartime standards. British correspondents comment that it was only necessary to witness the parade to realize that the old Spirit, of which Hindenburgh spoke yesterday; is still alive. The culmination of the review was i march past of uniformed groups illustrating the development of Germany from the days of Teutonic crusading orders up to the Imperial Grenadiers, the storm troops of the Great War. iso tremendous was the enthusiasm when the latter groups passed, that they had to march past again, saluting the Field Marshal’s box. Included in the march .was the Honour Company, headed by forty-five victorious colours of the old army, including the warworn naval flag. The Monarchist press states; “His Majesty the Ivaiser has expressed his congratulations.”
