(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) AIR COOLIDOE’S PROPOSALS. (Received this day at 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 2. President C’oolidge proposes a plan to build ii monumental highway from Maine to Valparaiso, Chile, ns an effective project to bring the people of South America into more direct business relations with those of the United States, thus creating a better feeling between the two peoples. He also approves of the idea of establishing a postal air service to South America partly financed hy the United States Congress.
