(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The House spent the afternoon discussing the reports of departments and committees. At the 7.30 session the Minister of Lands moved the second reading of the Land for Settlements Amendment Bill, which after a debate lasting till midnight was agreed to. The House then went into Committee on the Legislative Amendment Bill, which was reported, with several small amendments and read t(ie third time and passed. The House rose at 12.15 am. till 2.30 p.m.
