Professor Steele, of the Queensland University, referring to fresh oil developments at the Roma bore, in Queensland, said that the flow was one of immense significance. Tlie 'Professor said lie did not believe that oil would ever flow up the well in any quantity; hut the problem relating to oil had been altered throughout the Commonwealth by the oil having been found.
