- Australian Press Association A Sun.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 21. Since the Australian tennis stars, Gerald Patterson and J. B. Hawkes, are unable to tour Xew Zealand during the coming season, the Xew Zealand T Tennis Association is seek y ing a l iggm' draw. With the refusal of the Australians to make a tour of the Dominion, the Coumil considered the question of inviting a combined Victorian and Xew South Wales ladies’ team to make a visit to Xew Zealand, hut this notion has been discarded in favour of arrangements for an extension of the tour of the French Davis Cup stars. Cachet, Brugnou. and Borotrii, who are now committed to a visit of Australia in a few months’ time. Negotiations are now proceeding through the Xew Ztaland representative in London.
