Martin Jensen, the winner of the second Dole Honolulu prize, crashed on Saturday, narrowly escaping death, in the mountains of Northern Arizona. Early on Friday ho left Los Angeles for a non-stop trans-continental flight, with a tame movie lion as his sole passenger. A special cage was built behind the pilot. The mountain-side suddenly loomed out of Die fog. and the plane was demolished.
