M.Y.W.B.C. ANNIVERSARY
One hundred and thirty yoaig people accepted the invitation of the Methodist Young Women’s Bible f'i'iss to join them in tho Town Hall last evening to celebrate the class’s second birthday. Amongst those present were a good muster of the local Presbyterian Bible Class and between twenty and thirty from St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Greymoutli.
The evening was spent in games, competitions, etc., and items were rendered by Miss Cox, Messrs Bulpin and Gardiner. Congratulations were voiced by Rev. G. Knowles-Smitb and G. Brown (President of the West Coast Methodist Bible Class Union’’, and tlie birthday cake cut bv the Leader lof the Glass, Miss D. Lynn, B.A.
Tlie climax for the evening was a mystery supper, a menu veiled in humorous titles being ordered by the guests and much amusement created when tho waitresses delivered the goods. (
