The “Daily Herald” states:—Widespread interest has beoen manifested in Mr MacDonald’s proposal for a special Imperial Conference to discuss the Empire’s obligations under the Geneva protocol. While Smith Africa, and Canada, have supported the voting suggestion Air Hilton Young opposed it on the ground that the present method of election to the council ought to he further tried.
