(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.) FLIGHT HELD UP. AUCKLAND, Sept. 12. News was received in Auckland over the week-end that the flight of Lieut. K. Al. Frewen from Hobart to Bluff, reported to have been arranged for today has been postponed. It is understood the Australian civil aviation authorities refuse to allow any flight except in a seaplane. Frewen was to use a Bristol fighter. LONDON, Sept. 11. Levine has abandoned his project for a flight to America till 1928. LONDON. Sept. 12. Courtney has abandoned his Atlantic flight. FURTHER ACCOUNT OF O’AIALLEY. LONDON. Sept. 12.

Tho latest achievement of O’Afalley (whose return to England was cabled on September 11th) to be reported is that, on the strength of a; story that he told the Court at Portsmouth. the Magistrate dismissed a charge of drunkenness against him, and paid his fare to London, where, on arrival, some railwayman tenderly helped him out, and placed him in a chair. Then they wheeled him through the harrier. When among the crowd, O’Malley vanished, and he could not be traced. Tho Portsmouth police reveal that O’Alalley had previously been convicted for begging and drunkenness, and state he related false stories of his amazing exploits in the Army.
