WEDDING BELLS

A very pretty wedding was solemnised yesterday afternoon at St. Andrews’ Church, Hokitika, by the Rev. J. \Y. Hayward, when Miss -Marjory Wilson, elder daughter of Air and Airs J. H. AVilson, Hokitika, was united in holy bonds of matrimony to Air George Armstrong, youngest son of Air and Airs D. Armstrong, of Ngahcre. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a single long-sleeved frock of ivory georgette, daintily trimmed with silver lace, and veil embroideied in silver. She carried a shower bouquet of white azaleas and primulas. Aliss Elsie AVilson, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, wearing a A ictorian frock of cyclamen taffeta, handembroidered, with front panel of fiilled georgette and light crinoline hat. Later in the afternoon Air and Mrs Armstrong left by car. en route for H a inner and Akaroa, where the honeymoon will he spent, the bride travelling in a hois de rose ensemble suit with ribbon hat to match and light foxfur.

The happy couple received many useful and' valuable gifts, incVuding a number of cheques, and bore with them the good wishes of a large circle of friends.
