It is reported that lie i.s abandoning politics. “Daily Herald” describes Mr Walsh as having been “always something of an Ishmail in the Cabinet.” It says : “He is a whole-hog protectionist and an ultra Nationalist.” It is announced that the Sinn Fein Party are not participating in tho general election. It is stated that this is duo to antagonism to Mr De Valera’s acceptance of tho oath.
