FOOTBALL.

WESTLAND SUB-UNION. At a meeting of the Westland SubUnion held last evening there were present:—Messrs F. McGregor (chair), D. TL Dowell. A. Cutbush, 1L McDonald, J. Stafford ,S. Moore and E. W. Heenan. Tbo following arrangements for Saturday’s represetative fixture were completed : Canterbury team notified they preferred to lie accommodated at Keller’s Hotel. Owing to Mr Keller being unable to lake tile team they were accommodated at the Red Lion Hotel. The names of Messrs Heenan and Outbush are to he submitted for selection as referee. Mr J. Stafford was appointed West Coast manager. Mr D. R. Dowell, touch judge, and Mr A.. W .Yarrnll, time keeper.

Tbo game is timed to start, at

2.45 p.m. sharp. Mr D. R Dowell was placed in charge of programmes and AL - E. 44 . Heenan in charge of entertainment. The visitors are to he taken to Lake TCailieri on Friday afternoon and to the pictures on Friday evening. The team departs by tbe 9.15 o’clock train on Saturday evening.

All plovers in tbe 44 r cst Coast team are hereby notified to send in thenlist of expenses immediately to the Secretary of the Suls-Lnion.
