THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES
Tin: Nuw Party. In +his country, at any into, men do not found new political parties .purely for the fun of the tiling, so we may take it that the United .\eiv Zealand party, which has made its bow, has .serious intent hcTrind it, and .some hacking. Its declared policy is a list of generalities, and the public will wish to know what it proposes to do, and uill wish to know who are to he its leaders. Its formation is another sign of file growth of dissatisfaction with the Government. —Auckland Star.
