AH]TAD TRADES TROUBLE. MELBOURNE, Aug. 23

The position of the metal trades ot Victoria is further complicated by the complaints of men that foremen employed by tiro engineering works have been engaged preparing tools for the use of other employees. As this work it is claimed has always been done by strikers, it has been resolved that members of all unions he instructed to refuse to handle any tools prepared by the Foremen. If this decision is given effect to, it is believed that many members of other unions will become involved immediately.
