Tt concerns the misadventures of an organisation of millionaires. “The Mvstorv Club.” As: the result of a heated discussion .a waver is made, by the L'lins of which each 'member obligates himself to commit, a crime undetected by the police, the failure of any project entailing the payment of a large forfeit. A real crime is committed ami members of the club are suspected.
Of course, they ore innocent, but’ "ben five more are perpetrated in rapid succession, throwing suspicion strongly on the club members, they arc frantic with uncertainty and fear. Added to thi.s are the apparent criminality of the heroine and the activities of the hero to clear himself from suspicion and the result is the most thrilling photoplay ever screened. ft would he unfair In divulge the original and unusual ending, which sends the audience away satisfied that it has witnessed a motion picture that will be a standard of mystery piclurisalions for a long time to come. The "ork of the cii'-t is unfailingly good. Each individual lifted into his part perfectly like a cog in a wheel. The hero is played by Alait Moore. His sweetheart is Edith Roberts, while the rest of the players farm an all-star cast. They include Mildred Harris, Charles Lane, AA'arnor Olaud, Henry Hebert, Charles Puffy. Alphonse Alarm’ll. Finch Smiles. Karl Metcalfe, Xat Carr, .led Pioiity. Alfred Alien, Sidney Braecy and Monte Montague. The picture was directed by Herbert Blache.
