NELSON ASSAULT.
NELSON. Aug. 11. Charles Hogg was charged with assaulting William Ryan and also with stealing twenty pounds from him. He was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court. Bail was allowed.
ASSAULT ON M ALU. EI.THAM, Aug. 31. At the Ellhnm Court to-day. Albert Morgan Conroy. Manager of the Hawera Pictures, was charged that at Matapu on or about .July 6th. he did commit an assault on a male. A remand was granted to Hawera till the 18th inst. Bail was not applied for. It is understood that a further six charges are pending.
