The entries received for tlio Wevstlniid Competitions show ;i very sntinfactory increase, being upwards of oO per cent, above those of la.it year. Several classes not patronised formerly have drawn entries, thus ensuring wider variety in the daily programme. The entries are now being classified with a view to the arrangement raf the time-table. It is hoped lo start the Competitions at 10 a.m. on Saturday week when there will he a long day. The competition will he continued on Monday. 22nd. inst. and concluded the day following. The executive will meet on Friday afternoon to finalise the arrangements fur the Competitions.
