EVERYBODYS’ PICTURES ” Mi,.., BREWSTER’S MILLIONS” -TO-NIGHT. A. Bird in the hand is worth five in the bush! That’s what Polly Brewster found out. You see, Polly was a poor little extra girl in Hollywood, struggling from day to day, when all of a sudden, like a heaven-sent gift, she was informed by a handsome young lawyer that slip was heiress to a million dollars. It seems that an old uncle had died, leaving her his entire fortune with but one had to invest the money—not spend it. Then to save a seemingly hopeless situation, along name Uncle Ned Brewster who promised Polly five million if slic’d spend the money his linted brother had left her. That sounded a little queer, but what the deuce, five million was not better than one. So she stalled out on an extensive moneyspending splurge. To her guests, as souvenirs, she distributed glittering diamonds. And she bought clothes—reams and reams of them. Instead of using water in her hath—perfume wan substituted. And in place of a pors inaV maid—Polly had ten. A'cs, sir, -he lived—while it lasted! Now, wliilo one million dolars is more money than most people ever acquire in a whole life-time, if it’s spent like water, it just doesn’t last very long. So of e -urse, it soon disappeared. Then she wen! to Uncle Ned to ask for his presen!. But lie told her, he too was broke, having bad everything taken away by the Wall Street hears! As the world turned black an unusual thing happens which saves the day for Poi’lv. But you’ll have to see “ Miss Brewster’s Millions” at the Princess Theatre this evening to find out what followed. ‘-.Miss Brewster’s Millions” is the first farce comedy to he produced by ihe special comedy unit which Paramount lias given Bcbc Daniels. Belie is starred as the rich little poor girl, while Warner Sterling, who has agreat role as l ucle Ned, are featured. A topical, comedy and “ The Radio Detective ” (serial) will also he shown.
