Advice was received that Mr John O’Brien, of Ngahcre, died at the Greyniouth Hospital this morning. Deceased was a stepson of Afr B. Alulholland, of Kokatalii, and was a well known stockman in that district for many years. Of late lie has had a farm in Ngahere district. He was about 5G years of age. lie leaves three sisters (Airs J. Smith, of Stillwater, Mrs Stephens, of Wellington, Mrs A. Little, Koiterangi, and one brother (Mr B. O’Brien, of Kokatahi), besides several stepbrothers and sisters.
