The President instructed the delegation at Geneva to make every effort to reach an agreement, failing which he expects the conference to adjourn sine die. He believes at the plenary session on Thursday an effortwill be made to agree with Britain.
PRINCES IN CANADA. OTTAWA, Aug. 2.
The Prince of Wales. Prince George and -Mr Baldwin were officially welcomed at Ottawa to-dav as guests of the Canadian peojile.
An address was delivered by Premier -Mackenzie King, who announced the Prince of AYales and Mr Baldwin had honoured Canada by accepting membership of the Privy Council of the Dominion.
