Hudson Motor Service (Jury Isth) with tun guineas costs, on the ground that the bye-laws were neither invalid nor unreasonable. PARTICULARS OF APPEAL. The Full Court, consisting of Justices Skerrott, Rood and .McGregor, heard the appeal A. K. Saves v. Hudson'* Pioneer .Motor Service. The defendant runs a motor service between Wanganui and New Plymouth, and was charged with picking up passengers in Stratford without a license, under that Borough's bv-law. Tho Company contended that they had a heavy traffic license as well as an ordinary motor license and Wanganui license which gave them the right to use any road. The Borough Council contended none of them over-rode the right of Borough’s to make special regulations for their own traffic and Mr Tates S..M. upheld them. From this conviction the Company appealed and the judgment of the Fuji' Court will he final. The case is of importance as the K.M.’s decision being supported, every service ear will have to register under the by-laws in every town through which it passes, and pay fees accordingly.
