At the above yards yesterday an entry of 24 fat ewes. 12 wethers, 13 lambs and G 5 head ol cattle were yarded with Messrs V . Jeffries and Co. There was a moderate attendance of buyers and competition for all finished pens was equal to that of the previous sale. There was again however a preponderance of cow beef for which a limited demand only was forthcoming. Prime ox beef made from 34s to 38s per hundred, prime heifer beef 31s to 37s Gd and cow beef from 25s to 30s per hundred. The following safes were recorded : On account of Mr .T. AlcGregor. 28 owes at 26s 3d. On account Mr J. M. Cropper 12 wethers at 28s Gd, 13 lambs at 20s Gd. On account of Mr E. A. Gibb, 1 heifer at £ll 12s Gd, 1 ditto at £lO 10s, f ditto at £lO ss, 1 ditto at £9 17s Gd, 2 ditto at £9 15s, 3 ditto at £9 ss. 3 ditto at £9 2s6d. 1 ditto at £9; 2 bullocks at £l3 2s 6d, 1 ditto at £l2 2s Gd, 2 ditto at £ll 10s, 2 dittg at £ll 2s Gd. 2 ditto at £lO 2s Gd. 1 ditto at £9 2s Gd.
