ANNUAL MELTING. The annual meeting of delegates of the West Const Centre of the Xew Zealand Bowling Association was held at Groymouth last evening at Air ,J. Ring’s Office. There were present: Messrs .). Ring (Greymouth), A. E. Benjamin (Hokitika), A. E. West (Itcefton), P. Struthers (Westport)., and AV. Bowes (Ruiiatiga). An apology for absence wan received from the Granity Club delegate. Air Ring was voted to the chair. Ho stated that in tho absence of Air D. McKay, Afr AV. Blair bad been appointed acting- ■>eci*efcnry.—Action approved. * MOTION OF CONDOLENCE. The Chairman feelingly referred to tho heavy death roll of members of clubs since last meeting—Messrs H. A. Thompson, 'l'. Baxter, W. dittos. G. Lemon and tho wife of Air Carey. A motion of condolence was passed, members standing. ORDINARY BUSINESS. The minutes of last meeting Were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. A letter was received from L. G. Alerter through the Grey Club/in reference to the dispute at the last tournament in connection with the nonstamping of howls.—Received. After discussion, it was resolved to confirm the action of the Tournament- Committee- hind take ruv further action on tho motion of Afessrs Bowes and AVest.
The balance sheet as submitted showing tho receipts totalled £3(> 11 s 5d (including net proceeds of llunanga tournament £l3 17s 4d) and tho expenditure £l-3 Is 9d. The balance to credit at the beginning of tho year was £3 Os 2d and had increased to £ls Is lid.—Received and adopted. NOTICE OF AIOTTON. Air Struthers !>v notice moved:
“That Iho annual meeting of the Centro ho /held when and where the annual tourmmidnt is .held.. 11l moving ho said that with the addition ot two new dubs at Afiltcrtou and Donniston, tho expenses of delegates would he doubled and cause a severe strain on the finances and if was though! the business could he dealt with at the annual tournament without expense. Air \1 esf seconded iho motion. A lengthy discussion followed and eventually the motion was agreed to on the voices with the addition thereto. “That, tho financial year shall still close on 30th June. Tt was further resolved that the officers to he deeded that evening hold office till the annual meeting in February.

Secretary and Treasurer; left to Messrs Ring and Rowes to arrange. All- McKay having notified prior to leaving for Australia that ho would not accept office again. The annual tournament was fixed to he held on the Greymmith Club's green on Alomlav, February Bth. 1928 and following days, on conditions the same as prevailing last year. . . A Tournament Committee consisting of Afessrs Ring. Bowes. West. Beniamin Blaxall and three members to he appointed by the Grey Club was appointed.
