f a test County cricket results are:— Army v. Navy—ln the first innings the Arm.v scored 193. Wilkinson made 72, G. Bryan 50. In the second the Army scored 233. Wilkinson made 44 and Williams 57. Brooks took 4 for 38. The Navy in the first made 429, Tuck scoring GO, Sellar 68, Bartley 84 ami Halsey 98. The Navy won by an innings and three runs. Surrey v_ Lancashire.—ln the first innings, Surrey made 264, Hobbs scoring 83 and Peach 51. McDonald took G for 92. In the second Surrey made 357 for five wickets. Sandham made 150 (not. out), Hobbs 49, and Holmes 62. Lancashire in the first scored 444 for seven wickets declared. K. Tyldesley made 103, Makepeace 152. and Kekersley (not out) 57. Lancashire won on the first innings McDonald has now taken 109 wickets for tho season.

Middlesex v. Yorkshire.—ln the first innings Yorkshire made 490 for nine wickets declared. Holmes scored 53. Oldroyd 88, l.eyland (not out) 204. Middlesex in the first made 302, Lee scoring 52, and Heudrcn 127. Kilncr took 5 for 80. In the second .Middlesex made 200 for two wickets. Haig made 80. Lee 55, and Hendren (not out) G2. Yorkshire won on the first innings.

Somerset v. Kent.—ln the first innings Somerset made 205. Freeman took 4 for 73. In the second Somerset made 79. Kent in the first scored 218 for eight wickets declared, Ashdown making 82 and Ames 52. In the second Kent made G 7 for one. Kent won by nine wickets.

For Essex against Derby Niehol] took 8 for 4G. For Derby Lee tool 5 for 43. Essex won.

For Hampshire against Xorthants, Mead made 100 (not out) and Tennyson ICG (not out). Kennedy took 5 for 52. For Xorthants, Jupp took G for 71. .Mead has now completed 100 centuries in first-class cricket. Hampshire won.

For Warwick against Worcester, Partridge took 5 for GO. For Worcester Root took G for G2. Warwick won. For Sussex against Gloucester. Cook made 166, and Tate took 5 for 80. For Gloucester, Dipper made 122. Sussex won.

For Notts against Leicester, Gunn made 51 (not out), and ,S. Staples took 5 for 51, Larwood 5 for 20. and Barrett 4 for 40. Notts won.
