A Socialist defence corps carried them ofi to an unknown destination. A priest, the brother-in-law of an acquitted Socialist. was killed. VIENNA QUIETENING. VIENNA. July 18. A remarkable number of youths between fifteen and nineteen years of ago were among those killed in tho street riots. The city is rapidly returning to normal, largely as a result of the Chancellor’s manifesto, that the stoniest measure of repressing will he adopted if the disorders are continued. Trains resumed transportation of workmen. Sunday was very quiet, except for a clash in the suburb of Menials, where a police station was attacked and seven persons killed during the fighting.
