'Australian Press Association A Sun.) SYDNEY. July 17. At the Stadium Jack Dillon and Mick O'Conn.>r (F.S.A.) fought a draw .The going throughout was very willing. Dillon showed the more to advantage in the early stages, but the American evened things in the Inter rounds. BRISBANE. July 17 . Charlie Purdy (NrX.) 10.9, outpointed the negro boxer. Joe Hall. 10.3. The negro took four out <,f the first six rounds. Tnen lie cased off suspiciously. In the fourteenth round however Hall was stung into a vicious attack. He then had Purdy going, hut lie failed to follow it up in the fifteenth round. The verdict for Purdy was loudly cheered, despite Hall s disappointing display. Purdy was always busy, his evasion being reminiscent of Billy Grime, but things looked had for him in the fourteenth when Hall showed a flash of real form.
