The Committo met last evening at 8 o’clock. Present: Messrs F. McGregor (Chairman), Moore, Stafford, McDonald, Dowell and Keen an. Matches for Saturday, July 16th. were set down as follows:SENIORS. Excelsiors v. United at Hokitika at 8 p.m.—Mr Williamson. .JUNIORS. Excelsiors v. Kokatahi at Kokntahi at 3 p.m.—Mr W. Kearns. Ross y. Rimu at Rimu—Mr Willoughby, THIRD-GRADE. School v. Excelsiors at 1.30 p.m. 8-STONE COMPETITION. Wednesday at 3.30 p.m. School A. V. Convent. Saturday at Hokitika. 10.30 n.m. School I?, v. .Rimu. The Ross Club notified that Mr MeMullan had offered a cup for a junior seven-side tournament to lie held at Ross.-—Received and offer accepted, a suitable day to hold the tournament to he fixed as soon as possible. From Ashburton Union agreeing to play a match at Hokitika om August 17th. against a Westland Sub-Union team.—Received. From W.C.R.U. in reference to arrangements for Jiuller match at West-port.—-Received . The Chairman who acted as manager submitted a report of the junior top. match at Grey mouth on Saturday. —.Received ami rote of thanks passed. It was resolved to start a junior knock-out competition immediately the present competition is finished, the trophy to be the Breeze Shield. It w-as resolved to suggest to the W. tlio holding of a Possible v. Probable match in view of the Seddoi) Shield match on July 23rd.
