Two Fainna Fail members have issued a writ against the Free Stale Attorney-General, and Speakers ol the Dail seeking a. declaration that they are entitled to enter and sit without taking the oath.
BLEND v. BUND. PRAGUE, July 10. A divorce petition, believed to he unprecedented, is engaging the Court’s attention. A soldier aged twentyeight., wlio was blinded in the war. is seeking a decree against a blind wife, aged 18. on the ground that she deceived him regarding her age and appearance. He alleges that she claimed to he young and beautiful, whereas he has been told Hud: she is very ugly. The wife replied Ihat her husband before marriage, felt her lace and judged her al l raetive. hut he is now influenced by her enemies’ calumnies. The Court dismissed the petition, on the ground of inadequate reason. and the lumbaad i.» now appeal-

As lie emerged front a church in Hainault with the bride on bis arm. a young Italian rembnstrated with a drunken Flemish worker who tried to kiss the bride. The intruder inflicted two fatal stabs on the bridegroom to whom a Priest administed the last sacrament five minutes after performing the marriage ceremony.
