Tu connection with the paragraph in yesterday'.-, issue in reference to the Canterbury Farmers visit to the Coast, stating that Mr l’aw.son. railway agent had found it impossible to arrange motor traffic to Ilariliari tor Wile visitors, we have been asked by Mr ML Newman, ot Newmans Motors. Ltd., to state that the information was not correct, as Mr Newman had arranged prior to the visit of Mr Pawson to Hokitika for the conveyance of at least 390 visitors to Harihari by motor car. but when Mr Pawson tame to Hokitika the latter informed Messrs Newman and Keller that the trip to Harihari had been cut out of the programme, the question of conveyance not being mentioned.
